Cupcake nails - confetti

I hope everyone in the uk is enjoying the sun while it lasts. I was out in the sun all day as well as trying to take pictures of this glitter polish, so damn hard without getting glare. It came free with two others in the Top of the pops magazine. The polish is over another colour by Mua called Amaretto crush.

Jelly sandwich technique

I found this idea on thesequinednail so I thought why not give it a try. I use Barry M - Blue Moon and Technic - Carnival. I really like this technique. Have you tried it?

w7 - Lava Flow SWATCH

Another polish from the w7 summer collection (last year). This is such a pretty polish and so cheap, quality is amazing. I bought them from nailpolishdirect.co.uk came within a day or two with free UK delivery. I am most certainty ordering of that website again.

Gold glitter over white

I saw polishban do this and I thought wow I haven't seen gold over white in ages. I don't think I have put gold glitter over white just black most of the time. So I got my white polish out and gold glitter and did a simple mani.

Chit chat - Arial

I purchased this from the pound shop yesterday, I fell in love with colour. I did say I was not to buy any more nail polishes but can't help it and nails are so in at the moment so hard not to.

It has blue and tint of green I noticed while I was taking pictures under my LED light. I manged one decent photograph.

Loreal confetti

I saw this in Tesco supermarket yesterday and saw this nail polish and was like hmm that's nice but I walked away thinking I might not like it anyway, so then I look online for swatches and was like OMG! I have to go back tomorrow on pay day and buy it. I was super excited like a child on Christmas lol. I love it, even the woman serving me was like Ooh isn't that a lovely nail polish.

colour glitter mood

These are two of my favorite glitter nail polishes. They both have different colour glitters bits in them. One is by Technic called carnival and the other is Posh polish Beauty uk called Interogalactic.

Still trying to master taking photographs of glitters, who do you people do it?

Glitters for Acrylic

Clients I have done Acrylic nails on adore glitter. So I bought some empty pots, then mixed my clear Acrylic powder with glitter I bought from craft shops or eBay. Today I decided to do some swatches of them on  false nails for clients to see. I even named them as well. Whats your favorites? I love Blue sea and posh purple.

glitterness

I am so into glitter at the moment it's so crazy. :D I never liked glitter that much on my nails, probably because I've always had short nails. So then I saw others use it on short nails and thought why not?. I used a navy blue metallic base colour, then purple mix in with turquoise glitter over the top. I am hoping my little finger nails grow back soon after evil Acrylics.

Glitter nails

I have always attempted to take photographs of glitter nails and the flash from the camera always made it too dark, when I took the flash off it would blur, under light you would see glare. So I spent an hour or so making a light box from a cardboard box I took from work. I cut out a square part on top and put Voile so I did not get too much light in causing glare.
